TATTOO TEA PARTY 2015 (being sick is not sick it sucks)

 

 Hay all so i just got back from the tattoo tea party convention in Manchester. and i just wanted to say a quick thank you to everybody that came by to say hi. get tattooed and cop a fresh new garment from the be kind drop. i was mad sick the whole weekend to it meant the world that people trusted me with there tattoos and helped me make it through the weekend you have no idea how much a appreciate you. i really couldn't live the way i do and make the stuff without your support. thank you!!!

FRIDAY NIGHT DROP (never ending story)

Hello one and all. I've been meaning to do a drop for a long time but could never find the time to go through my camera so now its all about multitask my breakfast, lunch and dinner to do all this computer related stuff (and its easy when all your meals consist of cookies) so hopefully I'll be updating more frequently... and regularly.
o and if you want to see some more random unorganised unsorted filler from me i've started using tumblr so follow me on there if you like that sort of thing

FRIDAY NIGHT DROP (aloha el monga)

Hello one and all, its Friday again and this time its all about Aloha tattoo and Monga.
If you don't know the often imitated never recreated Monga's work where have you been!!! you need to go do some research!... really!!!
with that out of my system Monga is opening a fresh new aloha tattoo in Barcelona and to celebrate his amazing new shop and to celebrate the 10Th year anniversary of aloha tattoo he's have a art show at la cobra negra which he kindly invited me to participate. the show will include work from Xam, Rudy Fritsch, Chad Koeplinger, Sarah Schor, Seth Siferri to name a very few of the amazing artist who will be putting art into what will undoubtedly unforgettable show.
With all that said here's what i came up with... should get this bad boy in the mail really!!! till next time

SUNDAY SERVICE ( japan)

So here it is, it took a little while putting this sheet together but i think i got it to a point where I'm happy. any way lets not forget the whole point behind all of this.
if you dont know what happened in japan you must be living under a rock. the disaster was one of those world shaking events that motivates people to try to make a difference.
so we at Jolie rouge will be doing are part by bringing back Sunday service and all money made will go towards helping japan. it will be taking place on
Sunday, April 17 · 12:00pm - 3:00pm

and the whole crew will be taking part so come down and get tattoo. i will also have a special print for sale... o and there will be cakes. so whats not to like

my original plan was to kill of this design after the first drop but because it has been so well received I'm contemplating a second edition. maybe in a new colour ways...?

WOODS MEN

The idea behind this painting was i wanted to make a print for valentines day. but i learned drinking tea and painting in water colour can be a bit of a bad idea, long story short i laughed while drinking and spat tea all over the painting so i put a tone of black into it to save the painting but in turned what started out as a soft more subtle looking piece in to a heavy graphic looking image... i don't think it would work for what i had in mind for it. but i still kinda like the painting

LIFE IN MOTION

This is what happens when the shop shuts to refurbishment after are resent flood, my obsessive desire to stay productive starts to displace a little... if i cant make tattoos for a bit what can i do?
so here's my first go at making something that moves with the somewhat primitive video software in my lab... it is what it is

here's a new painting which was mainly born out of my sometimes obsessive behaviour. a couple of months a got a did a painting trade with my buddy Ashley Davis(who is an amazing tattoo maker and artist! if you don't know you better get to know!!!)i wanted to get if framed and up where people can see but after it was framed it felt like it should be displayed as a pair so i painted something which i felt would compliment it
