woop woop new painting. I'm crazy in to painting at the moment,(in face I'm writing this while I'm waiting for a painting to dry) i think I'm subconsciously trying to sharpen my skills before the gallery opens I've had the sketch on my drawing table for a long time and the idea for the painting knocking round my head for even longer so its super nice to finally have it all painted.

BRIGHTON BREAKDOWN

I was just going through my archives in preparation for the long process of putting together my book and i ended up on a trip down memory. This is a bunch of pictures from the first Brighton convention, the first convention i worked and little did i know this was shaping up to be one of the longest nights of my life.
Long story short when my lady came to pick me up from the convention the car got up the hill to Brighton race course then gave up the ghost, leaving us stranded in the middle of and night and a long way from home. needless to say it was a sad time but i did learn two thing that night

1) your real true blue friends and fam really have your back when the chips are down

2)falsifying your identity to get your ass home must be done sometimes

NUTS AND BOLTS

I am tattoo apprentice and i think i will always be or at least feel like I am. There is so much to learn about this craft and i think a lot of young tattooists are getting it twisted, just because you have a machine in your hand and people are asking you to put tattoos on them in my humble opinion it don't make you a tattooist.

knowing how to make a needle. understanding how your machine works. and most importantly cross contamination is as important if not more so that putting in a line or a section of solid colour...

that all i have to say about that for now, I've got drawings to finish.
